History
In the early 1900s, seven Jacuzzi brothers successfully revolutionized hydraulic pumps for use in aviation and agriculture. In 1956, the youngest of the brothers ingeniously customized the industrial hydraulic pump for at-home use to ease the discomfort of his son's rheumatoid arthritis. The home whirlpool treatment brought comfort to his son and initiated a small niche business.

In 1968, the family's entrepreneurial spirit was carried on by Roy Jacuzzi who picked up where his inventive father and uncles left off, by creating a market for jetted bath products. Roy Jacuzzi invented the world's first self-contained whirlpool bath � setting in motion a new era in hydrotherapy by making its benefits accessible, efficient and desirable for all. Shortly after, the company invented the first portable hot tub.

Today, Jacuzzi Hot Tubs and Jacuzzi Whirlpool Bath are committed to designing hot tub and bath products that combine warmth, water and air movement in invigorating massage combinations to rejuvenate, relax and reconnect.
