Jacuzzi® "Showers" Habitat for Humanity with Fixtures for Families in Need

CHINO HILLS, Calif. - (August 27, 2008) - Jacuzzi Brands Corp. recently donated more than 2,000 shower bases to Habitat for Humanity, the international charity known for providing more than one million people with safe, affordable shelter. The noteworthy gift is slated for use in the bathrooms of Habitat Houses under construction or for sale directly to the public at Habitat for Humanity ReStore retail locations.

Habitat ReStore outlets sell new or gently used home improvement products, home furnishings and appliances. Proceeds support the building of homes for qualified low-income families.

“We are so grateful to Jacuzzi for this generous donation,” said Cindy Tyrolt, director of retail operations for the Habitat ReStore in Riverside, CA. “With times getting tighter, it is harder than ever to raise money for these deserving families.”

The premium-quality shower fixtures were donated from Jacuzzi facilities in Chino Hills, CA., and Valdosta, GA. They are being sent to Habitat ReStore retail locations in Los Angeles, Orange County, Pasadena, Riverside, San Diego and Ventura, California; as well as to sites in Georgia. Proceeds will support Habitat for Humanity projects in the communities served by each Habitat ReStore location.
