Jacuzzi^® Whirlpool Bath Launches Updates Finestra™ Walk-in Therapy Bath

New double-sealed watertight magnetic door seal creates leak-proof barrier

CHINO HILLS, CA - (June 10, 2008) - Jacuzzi Brands Corp. has updated its Finestra™ 6036 LH Salon Walk-in Therapy Bath to be the only walk-in bath to offer a precision-engineered airtight magnetic door seal to counteract leakage. Also new, a magnetic access panel provides easy access to the motor, piping and plumbing.

The Finestra features an ADA-compatible seat, color-matching grab bar and slip-resistant flooring to make the model consistent with the current trend toward universal design and aging-in-place. It is available in two heights of 14” and ADA-compliant 17”.

“Demographic and population trends will require bathroom designs to accommodate aging-in-place and embrace universal design,” says marketing manager Andy Stokely. “The Finestra Walk-in Bath is designed for easy access and a safe and comfortable bathing experience for all audiences. Available in almond, oyster and white, the Finestra is offered as a soaking bath, whirlpool bath, Pure Air^® bath or a Salon™ Spa Bath, which combines the whirlpool and Pure Air experiences.

Adjustable jets, an electronic control and 256-color chromatherapy lighting allow the user to customize the hydrotherapy experience to personal preference. The strength of massage — from stimulating to soothing — is controlled by a multi-speed motor.

The PrO₃ cleansing system offers reliable self-cleaning on whirlpool models, making this a virtually maintenance-free therapy bath.
