Jacuzzi Enters into Agreement to Sell Bathcraft Business Unit to Jupiter Bathware

Chino, CA - April 30, 2008 - Jacuzzi Brands Corp. President and CEO Thomas D. Koos today announced that a definitive agreement has been reached to sell its Bathcraft business unit to Jupiter Bathware Inc. The transaction is scheduled to close on May 6, 2008 pending satisfaction of normal and customary closing conditions.

Under the agreement, Jupiter will acquire the stock of Bathcraft and will continue its current operations at the Valdosta, Georgia production facilities. Senior management for Bathcraft, including President Lynwood Davis and Vice President and General Manager Johnnie Hambrick, will continue in their respective leadership roles. No additional terms of the sale were disclosed.

McCoy. “The combination of our businesses at this time offers significant efficiencies by having three plants strategically located in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern states.”

Domestic manufacturing of Jacuzzi^® branded bath products will remain in Valdosta, Georgia in a recently-completed factory. The new facility with expanded space is separate from the Bathcraft operations. Richard Baehr will be the top local leader for Jacuzzi Whirlpool Bath’s Valdosta operations reporting to Brett Mueller.
