Jacuzzi® Incorporates Natural Elements with Fuzion™ Collection of Whirlpool BathsEuropean-Influenced Design Features Natural Woods for Spa-Like LookLAS VEGAS (Kitchen/Bath Industry Show, Booth #6835), May 10, 2005 - The new Jacuzzi Fuzion collection of single and double bathtubs blends Jacuzzi performance with natural wood in response to consumers' desire for the tranquil feeling of a destination spa in the home. "Because Jacuzzi understands recent and upcoming trends in design, this is our first collection to bring elements of the outdoors into the bathroom," said Melissa Gosling, director of marketing communications for Jacuzzi Whirlpool Bath. "That unique design feature creates a spa-like atmosphere for bathers." In addition to being the first Jacuzzi whirlpool bath to combine wood and acrylic, the top of the line Fuzion bath is the first to include 23 jets. The two-person model also features a fully functional dual system. This system incorporates two in-line heaters, two pumps, two Chromatherapy lights and two digital controls so that each bather can control jet pressure and lights for a customized whirlpool bath experience, independent of their partner. A new overflow feature allows the tub to be fully filled for maximum bathing comfort and a pleasing aesthetic. When the Jacuzzi Fuzion tub is operated, four patented Jacuzzi Thera-Pro™ Jets create an extra wide, circular flow of air and water that deliver a powerful full-body massage, while AccuPro™ back jets ease tension with targeted deep tissue massage. Thera-Pro and AccuPro jets swivel and adjust water flow for a customized massage. To allow a quiet bathing experience, the Jacuzzi patented Silent Air™ induction system draws air from the bottom of the tub instead of the surface like most systems. To further enhance the relaxation, optional fiber optic Illumatherapy™ lighting radiates through each TheraPro jet in a range of 256 colors. The Jacuzzi Fuzion Collection is offered in three spacious sizes and two wood finishes, ideal for one or two bathers, including a corner unit. The tubs will be available starting in November 2005 through kitchen and bath and plumbing wholesale showrooms.
